Our tree planting programme began in 2012 when we planted our first 59,000 mānuka trees on Moemutu Station, a jointly owned 800 hectare farm on Mahia Peninsula in norther Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. Over the subsequent decade we have progressively planted over 360,000 trees on the property.

Over 600 hectares of Moemutu Station is currently covered in native indigenous forest and this canopy will continue to increase as regeneration takes place and spreads further. 

Our beehive numbers and bee population have progressively increase and we expect this growth to continue as our mānuka plantation and other native indigenous tress grow and regenerate.

In 2008 we entered into a covenant agreement with the QEII National Trust protecting 108 hectares of mature bush on Moemutu Station. This agreement will maintain, protect and enhance the indigenous flora and fauna on the farm for future generations of New Zealanders.

We are committed to New Zealand achieving our domestic and international climate change targets. 

As an early participant in the Emissions Trading Scheme, we have over 400 hectares of native indigenous forests registered under this scheme (all of which will be registered as Permanent Forests once the rules relating to this initiative are finalised). 

We work closely with the Department of Conservation to conserve and protect New Zealand's natural and historical heritage.
